the EIC sends out a  very special thanks to the washington post and Ms. Athelia Knight, head of the Young Journalist Development Program, for their very generous donation of $1,000 towards our newspaper.  As you all may know, this student run newspaper is in debt and relies solely on fundraisers like the upcoming Talent Show and Faculty Follies to generate capital.  Hurricane Nation and the EIC thank the Washington Post for their tireless efforts to help young journalism programs in the area.
